You want to know what your child will actually do all day. So here is the whole of it, bell by bell, nothing left out.
The gate opens at twenty to nine and a teacher stands in it. Not for discipline — for the child who turns up looking like something is wrong.
Twenty minutes in the courtyard. The anthem, the pledge, the day's notices, and one student — a different one every day, right down to class I — reading something they wrote.
Then the motto on the crest, said aloud: by love serve mankind. It is on the wall in three languages and it is the only rule the school has that cannot be appealed.
Maths, science and languages sit before lunch, because that is when a child can hold an argument in their head. Five periods run back to back from twenty past nine until lunch.
English is the medium. Telugu, Hindi, Urdu and Arabic are taught as languages, and the full class-by-class timetable is further down this page — the real one, not a sample.
Fifty minutes, the only break in the day and long enough to be a real one. Most children bring a box; the school keeps a supply for the ones who forget, and no one is told who they are.
Sixth and seventh periods run from half past one to ten to three. Subject teachers move between classes; the timetable below shows exactly who is standing in front of your child at any hour of the day.
Zero hour is the one slot in the day with no syllabus attached to it. The class teacher — the same person every day — takes their own class: what was missed, what is due, who is falling behind and needs to say so out loud.
It is also when a teacher notices something and calls you that evening rather than at the end of term.
The school closes at 15:30 for everyone, from Nursery to Class X. There is no separate early bell for the little ones and no later one for the board years.

The school confirmed four fixed points — gates 8:40, assembly 9:00, one lunch break, and the close at 15:30. The times against each individual period are what fits between them, not bell times the school has given us; the order of the periods and who teaches them is exactly as the sheet has it.
